Winterlight Mittens - PDF Download
I grew up in a warm climate, and as a child I was completely obsessed with holiday movies that depicted young children in northern states going sledding, making snowmen, and creating snow angels clad in winter gear: hats, scarves, and especially mittens. The crystalized yet fluffy snow seemed so incredibly magical to me, and when I finally got to experience a snow day for the first time in college, I learned that it really is. I still live in the South, but now where I am blessed with at least one good snowfall per year. That’s when all of my winter dreams come true, and I get to enjoy snowy walks in pure stillness and the sense of calm that only winter can bring. Inspired by the changing light of a winter sky and the cozy feelings of a walk outside in the snow wearing one’s wooly best, Winterlight Mittens will keep you warm and toasty, no matter how many snow days you get to enjoy this year.
